Galentine's Yoga Retreat

8:00 AM  –  1:00 PM

Treat yourself and your BFF to a special yoga retreat on Galentine's Day! We will start the day with a light breakfast then be treated to four 45-minute yoga classes led by Emily Dusek, Katie Murphy, Live True Yoga and One Love Yoga. The retreat will end with a soul nourishing lunch and chocolate dessert. The class space is limited to 20 yogis (all levels welcome). Retreat fee is $70 Arboretum members/$85 non-members.

Schedule

  • 8 AM - Arrive and get settled in the Snyder Fireplace Room for announcements and breakfast (food located downstairs in the Snyder Tea Room). 
  • 8:30 AM - Heart Opening Restorative flow with Emily Dusek (45 minute class). 
  • 9:15 AM - First class ends. 5 minute transition. 
  • 9:20 AM - Release and Receive Gentle flow with Live True Yoga (45 minute class).  
  • 10:05 AM - Second class ends. 10 minute transition. 
  • 10:15 AM - Gratitude flow with Katie Murphy (45 minute class). 
  • 11 AM - Third class ends. 5 minute transition. 
  • 11:05 AM - Meditation and yin practice with OneLove.Yoga (45 minute class). 
  • 11:50 AM - Fourth class ends. 10 minute transition to lunch. 
  • 12 PM - Lunch and Dessert (Snyder Tea Room) 
  • 1 PM - Event ends. 

Food Menu 

All attendees will have access to...

  • Beverages - Hot Water with Tea Options & Fruit-Infused Water 
  • Breakfast - Yogurt Parfait Bar (with fruit, nuts, and granola) 
  • Lunch - Curry Bowl (Vegetarian) 
  • Chocolate Dessert 

COVID Protocol

Because the MN Landscape Arboretum is an extension of the University of Minnesota, we must comply with their COVID-19 regulations. Face coverings are required indoors, regardless of vaccination status. You can review the University of Minnesota face covering protocol here. This means all yogis and teachers must keep their masks on during class.

After the retreat, feel free to enjoy the fair!

Join us to browse the beautiful and creative works of 50+ local talented artists from 10am-4pm. The fair will be spread throughout the Oswald Visitor Center and Snyder Buildings and will have a floral theme to compliment the Spring Flower Show. The timing couldn’t be better to find the perfect gift for your favorite valentine!
