Take the science into the field with a guided tour of the private peony and weigela research plots while the plants are in peak bloom. Witness the weigela breeding process firsthand and see how we evaluate peonies for landscape success. Space is limited and tickets are required for the field tour portion. Your tour ticket includes the entrance fee into the UMN Landscape Arboretum for the entire day.

This tour is on very uneven ground, there is no seating available once at the research plot, and there is limited access to restroom facilities.

A valid ticket must be presented upon arrival to the tour bus. Please plan to arrive early, so you do not miss your tour. The bus will pick-up and drop-off outside of the Oswald Visitor Center.
